Beverley French
I started painting in earnest about eight years ago, although I have always taken photographs and kept sketchbooks of sorts. I mainly paint landscape, flowers, or abstracts, and use multiple media, such as photos, models, drawings, or paintings in acrylic, oil, ink, or watercolour, to explore a topic. So, finished works are a by-product of many small experimental observations and explorations until I feel I have captured something of the original to my satisfaction. I live in the Ribble Valley and my current painting obsessions are Longridge Fell and the Lancaster Canal. All works are for sale. You can see some of my paintings at Absolute Enigma in Bee Mill, Ribchester, or you can contact me via my Instagram account: @clockroomart.
